Last day of Marcon...
Jun. 2nd, 2005 01:56 pmI missed most of the Ookla the Mok concert due to chatting with Wnedy and then hauling my laundry bin filled with costumes from my closet, either made from or are regular garmets. There were more people on the panel then in the audience it seemed, and it wasn't what I was expectiong...but I don't think we bored them all to death either. after that was the firefly panel. Few people got the river outfit but then I wasn't "acting the part" which was good for the participants. River is Crazzzzeeey. But so much fun to play. Yes I'm a Drama Queen. Afterwards we had the dead dog which was good but I couldn't stay to long. I ended up leaving and getting food on the way to gaming. Gaming ended up being cancelled due to one memeber being in cedar point :( so we talked and I ended up crashing on Brian's couch. We rescheduled Gaming for the next day and much fun was had by all
Now I just need a vacation to recover from my weekend!

I don't even know what city I'll be living in come September so I don't think I can make any plans quite yet. ;) I did notice that today is Jewel Staite's birthday. :) At 9:00pm each Friday night in fall 2002, some of would come onto the #geeks channel of irc.cwru and go "Mmmm, Kaylee." ;)

Date: 2005-06-02 10:26 pm (UTC)Some panels are teaching panels - and those can include panels where the panelists have to each and those were everyone in the room talks. There are also discussion panels where often everyone in the room discusses. By everyone... I mean anyone can and some actually speak up. There are other types too.
I just loaned my housemate the first Babylon 5 DVD - he hasn't seen much of it yet. I do keep loaning out Firefly... I've seen the pilot many, many times now. So far everyone who has seen it on DVD has liked it. There were even (at least) two webcomics that did a reaction.
