We are a go for a grand feast and ball at Ashton. The Baron approves as does plot. So brain storming:
1. Anyone else want to coregraph a very simple dance to teach people?
2. Anyone want to volunteer some good period dance music? I am going to make a couple of mixed CD's
3. Anyone want to perform during dinner?
4. Decorations?
5. What kind of pagentry would people like to see? Anyone like a masque? Maybe have a winter king or let the Baron pass out boons?
6. Any votes on food?
7. What else would people like to see?

Oh, and is this going to be in the lower tavern? Is that enough room? But yet, I don't know where else to have it. Too bad we don't use the upper tavern any longer. It's big enough yet cold and I know they don't rent it any more due to cost. But still, that large wooden floor would have been perfect for dancing!

Yes, send the boys out to fight trolls...lovely idea! Maybe plot can even come up with something manly for them to do specifically so that the ladies can get ready!

We played some awesome games before at a Pirates BBQ we held at my house last summer with my wenches guild. But for the life of me, I'm drawing a blank. I'll send word out to my wenchy sisters and see what I can come up with.

hehehe...such fun! I'm off to buy fabric!

yeah lower tavern I can't think of anyplace else that is big enough. I think if we move the couch and chairs and move the tables out afterwards we should have room.
