An actual update....

jayeneI've been a bit busy...
Point number one, I am completly moved out of the old place... I am not completely moved into the new on as my car load of crap demonstrates but at least it is concentrated crap.
Point number two, I have lost my wisdom teeth. This is a wonderous thing as suddenly 2 months of constant sinus presure vanished. I can breath, my tonsils are back to normal size and once the coughing is done I will be healthy... I've forgoten how that feels. :-/
Point number three, Origins rocked! I ran too and fro catching up with people I haven't seen before, haven't seen in years or see all the time. Yay. Had a great lunch and conversation with Petrovis, ended up in the Gencon photocollage thing, had my pic taken multiple times and belly danced a very little in the halls. The best was the firefly Larp though. Happa Tie Yatta went in together to play. He was a pusher and I was a brothel keeper (no compainion templates yet). With in a half hour I had asked most of the ladies if they were looking for work, had Happa's character tryign to exhort money from me for "working" on his turf, had worked out the first of three attempts on his life, and it went on from there. He had the dubious pleasure of being the LARP systems first casualty through a chain of events that had both of or handy work all over them. (I was spying on the crew who killed him for the crew that took me into the black with his "bodyguards" it got confusing). Ever so much fun, the storyteller knew we knew each other though and figured we would have fun trying to work things out.
That concludes most of my updates. It's not really interesting that I cleaned my old place or am cleaning this one. I am skipping gally right now but plan to make at least some of CTF (looking for a team as Ales right now) and then gearing up costume stuff for dragon con. It should be interesting... and I want to really get in some of their writing panels.

Date: 2006-07-11 01:57 pm (UTC)I SO understand how you feel! Being properly medicated for the first time in years is wonderful. Even all sweaty and dizzy moving furniture 2 weeks ago I still never coughed. When I realized that I almost cried with relief.
