jayeneI've been doing a lot of orginizing and unpacking right now. And cleaning and pitching things... the name of the game is if I dont need it I shouldn't have it. Between that and the move and a kitten that was hanging out outside my apartment yesterday my cats have been stressing a bit. Maybe that explains why they felt the need to knock my keys off the chest of drawers where I left them and into the basket of sewing projects where they were coved up under a layer of silk sleeve. I found said keys about an hour after I started looking for them, over half an hour after I was supposed to be at work. Oh and no phone... so I couldn't call in. I ended up emailing my boss, but she never got the email. Thank gods this is nowhere near normal for me so I have a small cushion for chaos.
Gah... had a good time this weekend. I saw X-3 and I liked it... there were bits that were predictable, but overall it wasn't to bad. Needed much more Rogue though... there was almost too many mutants this movie and you had a hard time getting getting attached to most of them.
It was a very nice weekend.
I got a lot done. First off I have a computer. Yay. It will run COH which I also bought... although I am still debating if I want to play it or not right now. I enjoyed the game, but there are messy politicy things if I go back. Shall have to see. And I have an Uber patch to download in order to play so I am not planning on installing it right away. I shelved most of my books, alphabetically by author and by subject for the nonfiction. We shall see how long that lasts. ;-) It emptied out a lot of boxes, I have about 8 left in the back room currently and a few random things to place in the rest of the house. Of course all this order will vanish once I bring over the costume and sewing stuff.... I shudder to think of all of that. Anyone need fabric? I have a metric butt ton. The schedule now is to get the kitchen stuff today and pack up the sewing table micslenery. Tomorrow I begin with costumes and what is left from the rest of the house, Wed Mandy comes over to veiw my chaos and after that comes the sewing room. My the gods have mercy on my clutter. I am also getting rid of a lot of my beads and the drawer system I used to orginize it. If anyone needs jewelry findings or gemstones let me know... I have a bunch of pearls I am willing to part with as well.
