Whew!
As anyone who has spoken to me in the last few weeks can attest I have been more then a little worried about various job issues, such as an assisitant manager who thinks that he should be taking over the store instead of me (who may or may not be stealing from the store, and throws things when he is angry.) On top of all of that the Store manager that was training me left the company three weeks after I started.
Things have been hairy. The AM (Assit. Manager) is taking out his lack of promotion on me (which I can understand, I'm visible) and the rest of the store (very not cool!). Today though everything got easier, I got a chance to talk with the Area Managers (well manager) and figure out exactly what was going to happen (I'm slated to take over the store) and we discussed issues of the store and I got some "you made the right decision feedback" about Saturday (The Am didn't make it to work and I essentially ran the store, and ended up doing all the oil changes for a while with not that much experience). Overall I'm feeling optomistic about work now, thank the gods!
