Why is it I can't force myself to meet regular writing goals... yet when I sit down exhausted after an event I can churn out a 2 and a half page culture packet (single spaced) and a character history?
I'm with you there. Sitting and staring at the computer right now and avoiding writing my paper. bad me. Don't know why it is. I just know this stuff happens.
I do think creative writing is easier than report type writing because there's no one to say you're wrong and no citations to make.
see my inner critiquer won't shut up on creative writing, but academic or non fiction is easier because there is a strict formula... But I enjoy creative writing more.
