Delegation and things checked off

I delegated a list of things to my wombat today. yay, less stress for the 'Nise (lest anyone think I have pushed to much off I detailed everything and most of can be done by simple phone calls, shopping trips and a google search) and it's off my plate!
I have a lead on a cake, I found someone who sews enough to fit my wedding dress toile on me, yay no contortions!
I also checked into the musicians. Yay for that too.
Next up hair stylist and makeup person. I don't do make up enough to be able to confidently do my own for the wedding.
Now if my ass can be nailed to my sewing chair for a few hours Saturday i should be caught up.

I continue to have every faith in your ability to get things done.

And I still want to see pictures of this wedding. From your list of clothing to make, it sounds very close to my own ideal ceremony: me in a tuxedo and him in a kilt.

BTW, congrats on getting married in advance, hon. With all the stress, I hope you are still taking some time to bask in the joys of becoming wed. I bet you will sparkle like a princess from a fairy tale!

joy, right now I need a cast iron frying pan. I'm an old harridien :)
If you need a kilt for your wedding let me know. I can do formal or the more rusticated ren look. But not till after June. Of course after my wedding I am making things for another wedding for the next year. Why do i do this to myself???? ;)

Because you're a sweet-and-lovable person who would do almost anything for a friend. I take it that you're helping a certain couple we know in common with their themed vows?

As for the kilt thing, I was kind of joking. Neither me or the Bear are Scottish by heritage. I just have a thing for guys in kilts, you see.
