First because it's on my mind tight now what I am currently working on:
I am tweaking my Elizabethan Upper Middle class dress. I wore this once to ren faire and it poured, combined with the Heavy upholstry fabric and ployurethane piping farthingale, I proptly had an instant set of panniers and a much longer train. I still got some "OH wow!" looks from paytrons though, and that was neat. After the farthigale gave up the ghost I changed to a much simpler outfit and had fun for rest of the day. So back to the subject the gown and the underpinnings need work.
I am also working on a anime inspired costume, a kelly green pleated skirt and sailor suited blouse. I have a vague inspiration to sell it after I am done, but I als0 need to buckle down and finnish the darn thing
My roommate has gotten some neat brocade and wishes a SCA legal fencing doublet, and a shirt by Dec and I have at least 1 Cloak to make as a commision. Busy busy busy.
On top of that (what do you think on only have 7 or 8 projects at once!) I am creating jewelry, for my business, with a show next friday and hopefully one the 8th, 22, and 29th of Nov. I have lots of pearls, garnets, and some Tormaline, Jade, and tiger's eye to work with. Hopefully I'll soon get a chance to take pic's of all of my new stuff, including some really cool hair sticks I created (pre fap sticks with beads).
The last few little things I'm creating right now are a couple of crossstitches that are rather halfheartedly worked on whenever I need somethng portable to do, and and afgan I've been crocheting.
And soemtimes I write songs, as an oh so subtle bridge to my weekend. I went to OVFF, or Ohio Valley Filk Fest. It was a blast! I got to play my psaltry (and loan it out) with some wonderful musicians, and teach some people. I was called on to sing some, and volunteered to sing, and I think those went over well. Mostly I sang traditional scottish, english and irish songs, as my own peices are not tweaked to the point of wanting to perform them. Some of the more interesting things I saw/ heard: a hammered guitar, a wire strung harp!, a woman from germany (I am sooooo awful with names) singing in english and playing a lute! (beautiful instrument and voice! and she makes harps!), Okla the Mok (Swoon I looove Rand's voice) and Michael Longcor and Cat Farber, a wonderfully wrong parody of Phantom of the opera (Fan boy of the autograph). All in all it was a lot of fun and hopfully next year I will not be quite so shy and will actually get to know more people.

Yep, I use the dulcimer hammers. A chopstick with duct tape, hm? Yeah, I can see how that would work.
