jayene | Week 3 'Nise 1

Finnaly a sane day. I have about half my little things taken care of on my desk. I have twenty minutes to go and I'm taking a bit of my oft delayed break. I am contiplating a lazy night home with Josh, and possibly some city of Heros (Yes I know, as by little brother put it "Dee you've become a gamer!" as though years of larping, CCGs, and table topping don't count?) (BTW anyone who calls me Dee dies painfully! There may be piano wire involved!).
Tomorrow will probably be insane again but I am a little calmer and ready to deal with it. I still have not found my camera.
Wedding plans are advancing slowly. We have a caterer (Yea Ottercat!), I have almost everything I need for the wedding clothing. Trim and a few yeards of a gold satin are all that I need now. I have bought silk flowers and have a lead on more. Mandy from work is coming thrifting with me in Dec to find vases for arrangments and maybe some sheets and things to make tapasitries and banners on. I forsee spraypaint, apliques and other crafty things in my future. I need a photographer, a location (help parking for 150 and outdoors and private!) a cake of some sort more decorations, tablecloths and the like, officially hire the musicians, find tents, charis and tables if needed....
Honestly when pared down to that it seems doable. Oh and invites which are hingeing on a site.
Blah I will not lose my mind with this, i will not!

I keep a little business card in my wallet for one of my fav photographers. Used to work him and he's brilliant. I'll bring his card with me tomorrow and you can give him a call if you like. See what he can do for you. :)

indeed we do. :) Wedding is June 10th.... how much time do you need? My big focus now is sewing, site and invites, not nessisarily in that order.

I'll be arriving in Cincy Thurs morning, the morning of thanksgiving, and leaving Saturday night or Sunday morning. I don't think I'll make it to Columbus, but is there any chance you'll make it to Cincy in that time? Do you have Friday off, by chance? I need to get measured for the dress. Remember that I owe you a sushi dinner as well.

I am planning on comming down for thanksgiving to my dads then head over to your place. I will have sewing machine and everything else with me. What I am hoping to do is at least have the mock up done that night. I have a plan, we shall see how you like it. I have the day after thanksgiving off as well so I might grab a hotel room and stay over and sew.

Yay! Yay! It'll be great to see you. My mother's family never makes a big deal of Thanksgiving, so I can get free by midafternoon. Shawna is hosting Dad's family's Thanksgiving on Saturday.
I can ask Shawna or maybe V to put you up if hotel room is too much trouble or expense. I don't know if bed space will be available.

I have a week's vacation May 13th-21st, and if you are going to have a bridal shower or do dress adjustments that is the time. I should be able to get to Columbus the thurs or fri before the wedding.

If you could do me a favor- remember the coop near where we used to live together? I crave 2 jars of their salsa- one raspberry, one peach. I can't find a decent fruit salsa here to save my life. I'll pay ya back.
