I need a change....

and I found one...it's big. But I figure if I give up NERO and Movies and eating out and everything I can quit, and go back to school. I can have a business/marketing degree from franklin in 4 quarters/ semesters. It's expensive but that's what loans are for. I've paid my other ones off. I figure if I can make 5-700 a month then my expensise are paid for, and books and things and well damn it I'm feeling uber unqualified for the job market right now. Anyone have any opinions? Wanna talk me out of this insanity? It terrifies me....but maybe it's what i should do.

I think it sounds fabulous. If you think you can manage financially, GO YOU!!!

The fact that you took the time and effort to research all of this, do a tally, and come up with something that would benefit you and take only about a year to complete... That shows me that you already know the right answer to this question.

It's scary, I know. In my case, I know I'm going to have to move out from where I'm at some point down the road, and the thought terrifies me. It's so HARD to give up a situation that's even a little tolerable, as long as it's stable. You'll be going headfirst into instability, and taking a big risk.

It's scary.

I'm not brave enough yet to tackle my own dissatisfaction, so I can't tell you with any semblance of authority what to do. But...

You are competant, skilled, and enthusiastic. You can do this, and regardless of what happens you'll survive. I'm not gonna feed you any crap about how you'll be stronger for it, but I think you may be happier for it.

Good luck, and regardless, we'll be here whenever you need a sounding board..
