About shoulder rolls....

I hate them. That doublet, that a few months ago I was relativly close to completeing? Nada. I have the shoulder rools pinned on and one about a third of the way sewn. It's taking forever! And they slip all over the place till I just want to toss the whole thing accross the room! Of course it is all handsewing, but normally that doesn't bother me. Today however, and the last month, well nothing is getting done. Blah. Once the shoulder rolls are set in the doub;t sleeves need to be attached. I'm cheating and just tacking both together instead of making two doublets or a kirtle for underneath. Once that is done it's just the skirts, and trim and that is sooo easy! Garrrrrrrrr! So instead of ranting maybe I should just sew?
