I'm leaving tomorrow....

My company is flying me to Orlando for a business meeting. oooh fun [insert heavy sarcasm here]. I haven't flown since I was 13(over ten years ago for those who are counting), and I'm terrified of heights. My huge mortality complex comming home to roost right now. Bleh. Then there is surviving the damn meetings. Meetings filled with buzz words, and crappy cooperation strategies and at night all the managers go out drinking. It's a barrel of laughs for someone who doesn't drink. Sigh. Everyone I meet seems to think that this is going to be awesome. I'm bringing books...I'd bring needle work but I'm concerned about the plane. Writing and reading should be enough, and maybe I can outline plot ideas while I am [ahem] taking notes. :D
I come back wednesday night and then open to close the rest of the week and no days off till thanksgiving. And Josh is going to be up here :( and can't come to Florida with me. blah...gotta go pack.

Congradulations and have fun in Orlando! Definately take some books with you to read and pack your toiletries and a spare change of clothes in your carry on just in case. Also, if you have a portable cd player, take that and some cds and batteries. There's never anything to listen to on those flights.
