Two lengths of the plastic coated wire holds the skirt out with proper bending and doesn't fold back on itself. Once it's all boned I'll try it out with the 'bethan's skirts to see if it buckles. I think I can have that part done tomorrow and get the skirts sewn together. Before I can attach them though I need to add eyelets or lacing rings to the bodice. I'm going to start with lacing rings and see how they look.
To do:
Homework
Finish the farthengale boning
test tweak then make a real waist band
Sew gaurds on skirt and sew skirt pannels together
add trim
Lacing rings on the bodice
Cut outer layer of sleeves
assemble sleeves
attach sleeves and skirt to bodice
Bias cut the neckline peices
Add gold trim
Make underskirt and forepart
pattern undersleeves
I think that's it....won't get done tomorrow but at least it gives me a plan to shoot for. I may have this dress done by march....that would be something!
