Happy times!

to anyone in Columbus, FABRIC ON SALE! :) the Joann's near Campus (olentangy) is closing and selling everything. There is some raw silk (sorry I got the last duponi and it's all mine!), velvets and more. Everything is at least 30% off up to 50%. They make you deals too, buy the bolt get it half off, etc. They have sewing machines and trims and art supplies and so much I had to get out of there!
Now that my public service announcement is over I must brag, I got silk duponi for about 7 bucks yard! and gold cluny lace for about 1 dollar per yard. I think I spent 45 buck and got buches of sewing machine needles, a cone thread holder thingie, 5+ yards of white silk duponi, I have no idea how much cluny lace, some cloak clasps and buttons for my doublet. Woohoo! Plus to top all this off I found a comforter for my bed. Queen size navy/gold brocade. :) Now I just need to get the bed I want!

They have raw silk in teal, brick, plum and turquise. That is about 5-7 bucks a yard....I could ship some to you. :) lol or there is always fabric.com http://store.yahoo.com/phoenixtextiles/fabric-apparel---fashion-fabrics-just-arrived-wool-melton.html
they have wool and silk for under 10 a yard!

Oh, hey... If you're interested in another costuming commission, I have a friend who's looking for an Excel costume for the next Ohayocon. She was VERY impressed with the Ilpalazzo costume. (Incidentally, do you still have that in storage? I sent it back with Sam...)

Oh, and incidentally it is coming up to Origins time again. Do you folks have any plans for the next weekend beyond the usual work schedule? I would love to spend some time with you and the rest of the crew, while I'm in town for the con...

That is next weekend right? I think I'm working most of it but we shall see. OGRE will be there again demoing. As for the Excell costume, No Problem as long as I have sufficent time. When is Ohyocon?
I have you Ilplazo costume, Would you like to pick it up when you come to origens? As always our couch is yours.

Ah, good. I'll pass the word on to the friend in question. Ohayocon isn't until January, so there shouldn't be a problem with time.
Mmm... Probably better if you kept the costume for now. I'd like to commission some modifications and improvements to it, so it would probably be better where it is.
The couch is mine? Woohoo! I'll be up Wednesday night, if that's okay with you. Plans subject to change, but I think Wednesday should be it.
