and more about that later... in the mean time I have come up with a plan. Would people be interested in a Winterfeast festival complete with entertainment, dancing (yes I love dancing), excuses to wear pretty costumes, and a feast? I was thinking if people were willing to donate 5-10 bucks we could get a resteraunt in Portsmouth to cook so it wouldn't fall on BJ or Jim to provide that meal and we could deck the lower tavern out. I like pagentry and excuses to wear something pretty. I would be willing to make the arangments for the food we had some commitments that people would be interested...
So sound off. If there is interest here I'll bring it to the boards and if there is interest on the boards then I'll make arangments. This by no means needs to cause plot to stop, although the Count could come visit (or not) with his court or other NPC's could come in and visit. Other plots can be happening, it doesn't mean that things can't attack but I think it would be a lot of fun.

I think that would be a pretty spectacular idea. Would you mind if I handled the arrangements or helped with them, given my RD duties and having to handle things out of game? I love the idea and herald you for it, there are just a great many things to consider and I wouldn't want a PC to have to trifle with logistical details when you could be fretting about what you're going to wear and what songs Koren can sing :)

Well this is actaully for our Larp group. We don't usually hire entertainment OOG we usually use the talents from our player base. All of the players pay to participate and we don't have a budget to bring people in to perform.
A lot of us are performers, we have a lot of vocalists and guitarists and a few professional musicians in the lot. If you like improv theatre though you might like participating. It's a lotmore then what is shown at ren faire.
I am looking for people to perform at my wedding next fall though. :-) As things get more planned I will keep you in mind.
