Soooo Hyper!!!!
I made wands last night. I have take the inestimable Lodhan's advice and turned Tonks for tonight. Badger is getting me colored hairspray in pink or purple and I'm going to do two buns on the top of my head, Kaylee style (firefly). I have my curbstomping boots of Doom! bright blue and black over the knee stripey socks, black capris (to show off the boots and socks of course) and a periwinkle tank with a skull and crossbones that says "The Weird Sisters, 1995." Over it goes a black knee length suit jacket that comes off very punk. I made three wands last night, a silver one for Josh (who is going as a shabby Lupin complete with case) a pink one for Mandy who is going as Umbridge and a black one for me. I have grand plans to put mine on a chain like a wallet. Oh and I have some fake piercings for my nose and my upper ear. That plus some contacts and eyemakeup should punk me out sufficiently. There will be pictures.
I'm working through lunch to leave early now and I'm to hyper to focus. wilmington has a diagon alley, a knockturn alley, a parade of all the costumed people, a full cast of characters, Wizard bands, vendors, a haunted trail, hogwarts, it sounds like soooo much fun. I've avoided all spoilers so far and if any one spoils the book for me I will shove my wand where the sun don't shine. And LEAVE it there!

Also... hawt! I hope to see pics. You may have already posted - I haven't read LJ since last week to avoid spoilers. I'm now catching up. I did finish...
I hope you had fun; if it works, you could should bring the costume up to Cleveland when Film Society shows it. We in the staff always dress up for HP night and we have sorting cerimonies and such. I have to figure out what wear this time...
