I gave blood and now I'm lightheaded. That didn't happen last time. :-( Off to drink more liquids and stay focused. Only 3.5 hours to go.

Not sure if it's 3 but it can't hurt.

Can indeed be up to three lives. Each unit of blood can be separated into its three main components and given to three different patients. ^_^

I gave blood and now I'm lightheaded.

This probably makes me a bad person, but that (and nausea) happened the last time I gave blood, which is why I don't do it. I really admire you for donating blood.

it doesn't make you a bad person... I have really easy veins and a little lightheadness is my only major symptom. After the tonsilectomy complications I lost about a pint and didn't have any major symptoms with that (besides the throat stuff). So I started donating in November and it's been pretty easy so far. If I had more complications I don't know if I would continue doing it though. Everybody helps out there own way, and for me this is an easy enough way to do it.
