Life in the land of the 'Nise
Feb. 21st, 2006 05:56 pmIt's dull. I bailed out of NERO due to being generally unprepared and unpacked and a vague sense that my weekend should have a more tangible byproduct then utter exhastion and black makeup remains in my pores. I know I am a goober. I did clean and didn't sew. My procrastination on the wedding is becoming an issue I should fix that.... next week.
The countdown of things to be sewn is as follows
Bridesman#1
Doublet: Linning needs to be added buttons sewed on.
shoes and pants from somewhere
Bridesman#2
Cloak shoes and pants
Bridesmaid
Finish Toile and ship off for fitting then make dress
Groomsman#1
buy shirt and pleat kilt, need foorware and sporran
Groomsman#2
buy shirt and pleat kilt, need foorware and sporran
Groom
Doublet, see if wedding shirt fits and sew gold buttons on, find pants and footware, get circlet
Bride
Dress, toile needs to be fitted and mock up the back drape, make knot pattern for cape, sew trim and the like....
Oh and we still need the tent/chairs/table, menu, photographer, invitations printed and mailed ( I still haven't got the list from my mother) all the decorations nor the cake.
I have to arrange flowers for the tables and arrange for musicians and the dance instructer. Oh and have an order to the ceremony so I can print programs.
What and I spending my free time doing? City of Heros... someone shoot me. The wombat is helping (he better it's not just my wedding!) but things are going on with the wombat with more stress but possibly a good reward. Can june be over or can we just elope!!!!!!

It will be fine. Sounds like you just need some downtime to take care of yourself. The theme wedding sounds wonderful but by making so much of the outfitting yourself...you have given a lot of work to you. Maybe working on things in pairs or making work fun somehow would help.

Date: 2006-02-22 12:40 am (UTC)When do you want me to drag you out for dinner sometime this week? I know we were gonna do it last week but I totally forgot about it. I can do any day except Thursday and possibly Saturday. I'm going to talk to my brother Saturday about getting me a pair of boots for work.
E-mail or gimmie a call and we can work it out.
