Stupid dryer!

We have to run it 3-5 time to dry things, even socks! The washing washing machine is currently fixing my peachy linen which I'm going to interline with some white cotton to make it less strechy. The end result will be a psudo civil war corset ala simplicity with pleanty of my help and modifications. I'm not using springsteel . Instead I plan on using the heavy duty cable ties. Which reminds me, I need to look into hoopsteel or something sturdier to use for my farthingale.
I'm hoping my first farthingale attempt can be substituted for the simplicity hoopskirt. It was a bit too full really and the gown I'm hoping to make will be much lighter then my 'bethan middles. I have some really neat looking black satin with cotton stripes. It's a woven pattern, and though the cotton is beige it looks gray from a distance. I'm not sure yet how I'm going to make the gown...but that will come after the under pinnings.
