May. 10th, 2006 07:47 amWell I have 2 good choices for apartments right now and plans to see them next monday and Tuesday. Once I have a place things will be a lot less insettled. One of my friends is helping me on getting my own computer and washer dryer and I plan to scour the papers to see if I can find a piano at the same time. :) One truck stop. I need to check on getting a futon or couch and investigate a bed... Justin you mentioned you were getting rid of one of yours... it looks like I will not be getting a studio (yay affordable space) so if the offer is still open tell me how much you want for it.
I think I am actually going to have the place well furnished... color me surprised. Nothing will match but that is what slipcovers are for.
Packing is coming along. I finished sorting the 4 big bookshelves and packing the books... 13 boxes, in the small managable variety, plus one box of knick knacks. Plus I unloaded 2 bags and 2 boxes of stuff to amvets. Todays plan is to straighten the living room up and maybe the sewing room. The goal is to clear the floor completly in the living room so Secoia has a place to crash Monday. Tomorrow's goal is excavating the kitchen and computer area... should be an adventure. If I survive the clutter I will be at Lumberton the weekend. Once the living and computer rooms are packed I should only have the sewing room (mostly just getting things back in the bins and packing the jewelry stuff) and going through the assorded clutter n the bed room... and sorting through the boxes there. I don't know how much packign will get done next week but my goal is to have everything non essential packed before Marcon. The bathroom and Kitchen will be packed right before the moving day and the clothes will probably get thrown in and extra plastic bin or suitcase and shipped as is. I think it will be an easy move.
