Cars, fabric and whatever else I think of
Dec. 8th, 2003 06:33 pmFirst I have my car and my wool! It won't remain my wool for long but it is nice and heavy and I know it will make Stacy a wonderful warm cloak! I have got to say I really like fabric dot com. They have some amazing deals and the service was terrific!
I also have my car back. This is lukewarm, while it had an exhaust issue fixed the guy at the shop said there is a cracked axle rubber thingie. (Please note my extremely technical jargon). I called my mechanic and since I wasn't hearing any noises before it went it (besides the exhaust), and since they wanted 200 bucks to fix it and Fritz said he could do it for 150 I took her home. Fritz said it wasn't as serious as they were making it out to be. I was kinda suspicious as the part that they wanted to replace just "happened" to be on sale. The guy at the shop was also pretty condescending about "maybe you need to call your husband and ask him." *rolling eyes* Whatever, Josh has nothing to do with my car or my finances.
So my baby is home now, but she did start making noises on the way home so I'm not taking her to work tomorrow and calling fritz to see if it's still safe to drive it. I am fairly sure I can get it to his place, esp if I go late an night when their isn't much traffic.
